Design and development of Intersource.ch, the corporate web platform dedicated to professional and corporate IT training, built for InterSource Sàrl, a Swiss company based in Bellevue, in the Canton of Geneva, which has been delivering specialist IT courses in Switzerland and across Europe since 1995.
The project involved the complete migration of the previous Joomla website to WordPress, including the import, reorganisation and adaptation of existing content to the platform's new architecture. The aim was to modernise the company's digital presence, simplify the management of the training catalogue and improve the browsing experience.
For the new website, a fully bespoke WordPress theme was developed, featuring a custom graphic interface, a responsive layout and a modern visual identity consistent with the company's international positioning.
At the heart of the platform is a structured catalogue of more than 30 IT training courses, constantly updated and organised by technology area, including software development, Java and Spring, databases, DevOps, Linux, Data Science and Machine Learning.
Each course has its own dedicated page, designed to present the features of the training programme and enable users to quickly identify the solutions best suited to their professional needs.
Particular attention was given to presenting the three training delivery formats: instructor-led courses at the Swiss locations, training delivered directly at client companies' premises across Europe, and live online sessions via videoconferencing systems.
The website also highlights the possibility of developing customised training programmes, designed around the skills required by companies and the objectives of individual teams.
The information architecture has been redesigned to make it easier to access the catalogue, company information and contact forms, with particular attention to mobile browsing, content organisation and SEO optimisation.
The platform also includes sections dedicated to featured courses, the presentation of services, training formats and newsletter subscription, allowing the company to communicate updates and new training opportunities.
The result is a completely renewed WordPress portal that combines a custom-developed theme, autonomous management of the course catalogue and a flexible structure, designed to support the evolution of InterSource's training offering and strengthen its digital presence in the Swiss and European markets.
