The project
DifesaNews.com was created as a news platform specialising in defence, international security, the Armed Forces, the military industry and geopolitics.
The goal was to build a modern editorial portal, independent of traditional CMSs, capable of handling a constant flow of news, in-depth analysis and multimedia content.
The solution
Leonardo Network designed and developed a web platform based on Laravel, with a custom architecture and editorial interface.
The project includes a content management system, news organised by category and geographical area, internal search, specialist columns and a responsive structure designed to deliver an effective reading experience on desktop, tablet and smartphone.
Informational sections have also been developed on international conflicts, Italian military missions abroad and historical archives, all integrated into the editorial ecosystem.
Particular attention was paid to performance, resource optimisation, content delivery via CDN and preparing the platform for traffic growth.
