The project

Bella Napoli is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria located in Majadahonda, in the Madrid metropolitan area, offering a dining experience rooted in Italian culinary tradition.

The aim was to create a premium website that would showcase the restaurant's identity, present its food offering and give customers a modern, intuitive and easy-to-browse digital menu.

One of the main requirements was to give the restaurateur complete autonomy in managing the menu, dishes, allergens, wine list and content, without depending on third-party plugins.

The solution

Leonardo Network designed and developed a WordPress website with a fully bespoke premium theme, creating both the graphic interface and the advanced functionality to measure.

The project includes a presentation of the restaurant with photo galleries dedicated to the dining areas, the dishes and the dining experience, as well as a wine list organised for easy browsing.

The key distinguishing feature is the dynamic digital menu, developed using custom code and integrated directly into the WordPress backoffice.

The system makes it possible to:

• Independently manage menu categories and sections.

• Add and edit dishes, descriptions and prices.

• Assign allergens to individual dishes.

• Filter and browse dishes by allergen.

• Update the wine list and food content.

• Manage photo galleries and website content.

All the functionality was implemented through bespoke development, without relying on dedicated external plugins, retaining control over the architecture and the user experience.

The responsive design ensures optimal browsing on smartphones, which is particularly important for customers who access the digital menu directly from the restaurant.

A premium digital platform that goes beyond the traditional showcase website for the restaurant industry, combining business presentation with advanced management of the food offering.

Thanks to the custom administration system, Bella Napoli can update its menu, prices, allergens and wine list independently through the WordPress backoffice, with no technical intervention needed for individual changes.
